Fairy-tale Advent Market set against a magical backdrop

The Advent Market at the gates to Salzburg has always been an experience for young and old. From mid-November, the palace facade with its 24 windows will be transformed into an oversized Advent calendar. A fairy-tale forest with over 700 conifers will be created in front of the Hellbrunn pleasure palace, adorned with 10,000 red balls and fairy lights, which will make the entire area shine in a special glamour once darkness approaches.

The Hellbrunn Adventzauber is particularly popular with families due to its extensive children's program.

It is not only the eyes of the youngest visitors that shine at the Children`s World of Christmas. At the camp of the Müllner Scouts, children can grill sausages and eat them with bread right at the campfire. They can write a letter to Christkind and bring it to the Christmas post office, drive on the Christmas train, or observe the many animals – this will definitely shorten the waiting time for “Christkind”, our Austrian version of Santa.
